What's New

Reality 5.4 distribution introduces new features, enhancements, and bug fixes aimed at improving the overall user experience and functionality.


  • Reality 5.4 includes all features, improvements and bug fixes of Unreal Engine 5.4.1.

In addition to these highlights, there are several other bug fixes and improvements included in this update.

Reality UE5 Plugin


  • The default BloomPass settings cause the bloom effect to appear only in specific areas of the scene.


  • The default value for the Render Display Output has been changed from DOF_SDR_sRGB to DOF_HDR_LinearWithToneCurve addresses a previously observed conflict where color differences occurred between the Editor and Play modes.




  • Size of log files has been significantly decreased.

Reality Hub



  • JXD data-triggered updates to Forms cannot be modified within the Playout module.

  • Selecting a float property within the property group without making any modifications, the default value unexpectedly changes to 123.000. See Property


  • Default launch configuration changed to RE5 in the Launch With option. See Launcher Interface
