Reality 5 Licenses

Reality 5 licenses are categorized into two sections:

  • Reality 5 Core License
  • Reality 5 Feature Licenses

Reality 5 Core License

The Reality 5 Core Engine License, also known as the Engine license, includes the Reality Editor and Nodos. It also supports unlimited Video I/O and FreeD tracking inputs.

UERender.DoFBypassAdds additional DoF Bypass functionality to prevent depth of field lens blur processing for video projection pixels. Without this feature, out-of-focus pixels will be double-blurred by Unreal Engine, causing a halo effect around the keyed pixels.

UERender.FGMaskEnables foreground elements mask render output for Reality Camera to be used in video compositing. This allows 3D objects to be layered in front of the talent in virtual studio or augmented reality scenarios. The mask does not require additional rendering pass and it is clipped with the projected video depth per pixel.
