DeckLink Configuration

• Supported Video I/O Device: DeckLink 8K Pro
• Supported Driver Version: Desktop Video 14.5

Preparations

1. Visit the https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/capture-and-playback
2. Find Desktop Video 14.5 and download the Windows x86 version.

Desktop Video Setup Application

3. Extract the downloaded folder, locate the Desktop Video Installer v14.5.msi file, and double-click to run the installer.

Finalize Installation

4. Complete the installation process.

Restart Required

5. Restart your computer.

Selecting Device and Connectors

Blackmagic Video Setup Application

1. Click the Start button on Windows, search for "Blackmagic Video Setup", and run the application

2. Select the DeckLink 8K Pro from the device list in the Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup application, then click the Settings button as shown in the image above

Connector Mapping

3. Click the Connectors tab, and select SDI 1 In or Out option from the Connector dropdown menu, as illustrated above
4. Click the Save button
