Synchronization

In the realm of virtual production, maintaining synchronization across various devices and frame rates is crucial. Traxis Hub addresses this challenge by employing a method called sub-frame sampling, which aligns all inputs perfectly to the precise timing of a Blackmagic Decklink video input's clock.

This method ensures that even with the inherent unpredictability of network conditions and the non-deterministic nature of lens encoder readings, the output remains in perfect harmony.

The technology is designed to handle a wide range of frame rates, from as low as 10 fps to as high as 300 fps, without compromising on synchronization. This level of precision, down to the sub-millisecond, is essential for creating a seamless and immersive virtual production experience.
