Simulators

Simulators must never be used in production environments.

Traxis Hub offers a variety of simulators for you to learn and experiment with the platform. Currently, the following devices can be configured for simulation:

• Simulated Synchronization Source (simulates Decklink synchronization).
• Simulated Tracker (simulates a real-life tracker).
• Simulated Lens Data (simulates lens data through TrackBody).
• Playback Tracker (simple record-replay of track data)

To utilize a simulator:

Add New Camera

• Navigate to the Cameras module, click on the New button.
• In the popup menu, go to Lens Encoder Protocol and select Simulated, as shown above.

Add Tracker

• Navigate to the Tracker Configuration module, click on the New button.
• In the popup menu, go to Tracker Type and select Simulator, as shown above.

Tracker

• Go to the Cameras module, expand the Tracker, as shown above.

Tracker Details

• Select the Simulator as your Tracker.
• Select the SimPuc1 or SimPuc2 as your TrackBody, as shown above.
