Continuous Calibration

This guide explains how to enable Continuous Calibration in Motive and assign fixed anchor markers in a working tracking system. Complete the initial system calibration first.

Follow the setup pages in order. Use the monitoring and troubleshooting pages to check the system.

Setup​

  1. Enable Continuous Calibration: check the tracking requirements and enable the feature in Motive.
  2. Prepare the Traxis Continuous Calibration Kit: identify the components, connect power, and secure the bar.
  3. Assign Fixed Anchor Markers: select the tracked points and confirm their anchor assignment.
  4. Active ID Markers and Bumped Cameras: configure mixed marker setups and camera movement correction when needed.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting​

  1. Monitor Sampling and Updates: check calibration updates and maintain the required conditions.
  2. Checks and Troubleshooting: check sampling warnings, anchor visibility, and cameras that have moved.
