Version: Traxis Camera Tracking 3.1

Checks and Troubleshooting

Use these checks after assigning anchors, or when calibration does not update.

Check Tracking, Not Just LED Count

Six LEDs on the bar do not guarantee usable data for every camera. Check that the points are tracked. Check each camera that reports a sampling problem.

More Markers

  1. Select the listed camera.
  2. Open 2D Viewport.
  3. Choose From Camera... for that camera.
  4. Check the camera view.
  5. Add more visible markers until the warning clears.

Better Distribution

There may be enough markers, but they may be too close together. Check the camera in the same 2D view. Provide markers that are spread more evenly across the view. A small cluster does not provide the same coverage.

Last Validated Versus Last Updated

Last Validated resets when Motive evaluates samples but finds no better solution. Last Updated resets when Motive applies a better calibration. If there is no new update, this alone does not mean calibration has failed.

Read the Anchor Indicator Correctly

A green anchor indicator means each assigned anchor is visible to at least one camera. It does not mean every camera has enough data for Continuous Calibration. A red indicator means at least one anchor is hidden from all cameras.

If a Camera Is Physically Displaced

Do not assume normal Continuous Calibration will correct the movement. Bumped Cameras must be enabled for this correction. If it was not enabled when a camera moved, follow the official guidance and run a full calibration.

important

Keep the required Live-mode, tracking, visibility, and fixed-anchor conditions. Do not change advanced thresholds just to hide a warning.
